Chad got off work early Friday and we left as soon as I got off work. As soon as we got there we ate a wonderful supper and, of course, rode the 4-wheelers. That's what we do when we go to Troy. We ride 4-wheelers, feed the fish, and hunt armadillos. Yes, it's redneck but we LOVE it...especially my kids.
Saturday we ate breakfast, rode the 4-wheelers, ate lunch, and after Anna Cate's nap we went to Prattville. Chad's Uncle Urban called and wanted us to meet them at The Catfish House in Prattville. We were so happy to see Uncle Urban, Aunt Kay, Susan, Maw-Maw, and Ga-Ga (Chad's grandparents). We had a great meal and loved spending time with everyone. Both Anna Cate and Turner have a really neat bond with Ga-Ga. They're just drawn to him. After dinner we headed to my parent's house to eat homemade icecream!!!! My favorite! We had a great night with our family...we wish we could see them all the time. :(
Here's some pictures of the kids at The Catfish House...

After church Sunday morning some of our friends from college came to eat lunch with us at Tommy and Dyan's (Chad's parents). We had so much fun spending time with Will, Jared and Julia, their 2 beautiful girls, Nixon, and Isla, and Bryant and Whitney. (Just so know we love and miss Bryant and Whitney so much!!) Jared and Julia had to leave early to put their girls down for a nap. After they left we, of course, rode the 4-wheelers. Chad and I were on the first one, Bryant and Whitney were on the second one, and Will and Turner were on the third. We were having a great afternoon, taking our time, and hanging out. After feeding the fish, we were making our way up to the hay field when Chad suddenly stoped. SNAKE! BIG FAT HUGE SNAKE! In less than a second, I somehow make it to the back of Bryant and Whitney's 4-wheeler without even touching the ground. Me, Whitney and Turner are all standing on top of a 4-wheeler andWill, Bryant, and Chad are all standing on top of our 4-wheeler when they discover that it's a RATTLESNAKE! Thankfully Chad had a gun...he shot it square in the head. I hate a snake...chills...they give me chills.
We decided to show the snake, who Turner named Risky, to Tommy and Dyan. Even though it didn't have a head, it moved for over an hour. At times, it even looked like it was trying to strike at Chad (he held it all the way back to their house). GROSS!

Turner was excited to take the rattle home with him!
We had a great weekend, spending time with so many people we love so much.

Man, I am jealous. Wish we could have been there too!
I was just reading the story and my dog touched my leg and I jumped. I guess I am scared of snakes too.
Snakes......my biggest fear. Yuck!!
